Jean Agnes (Scott) McNeill 1920 - 2004 It is with great sadness that we announce the Home going of our dear Mother, Jean McNeill, who passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2004 at her residence. Born in Scotland on December 21, 1920, daughter of the late William Scott and Elizabeth Stark, she came to Moncton in 1946 as a war bride. She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Gloria Stevens, (late Arthur), Debbie Ells (Gary), Elizabeth Wall (Gordon) and sons, Douglas (Peggy) and David (Pauline) as well as six grandchildren. She is survived by her sister, Mabel Bruce (Bert) of Scotland; brother, David Scott (Peg) of Leeds, England and a brother-in-law, Willie Thompson of Scotland as well as many nieces and nephews. Jean was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. She and her husband enjoyed many trips to Western Canada and Scotland. She was predeceased by her husband, Douglas; sister, Peggy Thompson and a brother, George, both of Scotland; sister-in-law, Andrea Coates and brother-in-law, Frank McNeill (Rita). Visitation is at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home, Lutz Street, Moncton, NB on Friday, July 2, 2004 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 187 McLaughlin Dr., Moncton, NB on Saturday, July 3, 2004 at 2:00 pm with Pastor T. Friesen officiating. Interment will be in Shaw Brook Cemetery. Donations to the Memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Tuttle Bros.
