Mrs. Kathleen (Kay) McKenna MIRAMICHI, NB - Mrs. Kathleen (Kay) McKenna, widow of Earl McKenna of Beaumont Avenue, Miramichi, NB passed away Friday, July 9, 2004 at Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 79. Born in Miramichi, she was the daughter of the late Marshall and Arabella (Mullin) Bryenton. She was a retired RN of Miramichi Hospital. She was a member of St. James and St. John United Church, Miramichi, NB. She is survived by two step daughters, Paula McKenna of Moncton and Claire McKenna - Jean of Miramichi; one son, Larry Poulsen of Toronto; one sister, Lula Somers of Red Bank; four brothers, Jarvis Bryenton, Carl Bryenton, Jackie Bryenton and Leslie Bryenton; four grandchildren, Kurt, Michael, Catherine and Tim. Predeceased by her parents; her husband; two sisters, Beatrice Johnston and Blanche Somers; two brothers, Billy Bryenton and Charlie Bryenton At the request of the family, there will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, July 14, 2004 at 11am from St. James and St. John's United Church, Miramichi, NB. with Rev. Ron Feltmate officiating. Burial to follow in St. Stephen's United Church Cemetery, Red Bank, NB. At the request of the family, donations to Hope Animal Shelter, or a memorial of one's choice would be appreciated.
