John (Jack) W. Morrell IRISHTOWN, NB - John W. Morrell, 84, of Irishtown passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, July 16, 2004. Born in Moncton, son of the late Caleb and Mary (Cox) Morrell. John was retired from Auto Haulaway, Moncton, member of the Moncton Legion Branch # 6 and Veteran of 2nd World War, served overseas with the Royal Canadian Army, N.B. Rangers. John will be sadly missed by his daughters, Audrey Brereton, ON, Mary Morrell, Moncton; son, Elmer, Havelock; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren. Predeceased by his wife, Vivian (Steeves) Morrell; sons, John and James; brothers, Lionel and Fred. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton Saturday 2 to 4, 7 to 9. Moncton Legion Branch # 6 Memorial Service Saturday 6:45pm. Funeral Service was held at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday July 18, 2004, 4pm. Rev. Harold MacDonald officiating.
