Mary Florence Hawkes TIMBERLEA, NS - Mary Florence (Boyle, Richard, Arsenault) Hawkes, Timberlea, NS, passed away Saturday, July 17, 2004, in the New Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Born in Norton, N.B., she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Marie Anne Richard. Mary was a member of Sacred Heart Parish, as well as a member of the seniors club at Timberlea Manor. She will be fondly remembered by many of the patrons at the Leghorn BarB-Q, and as well the Hi Lo's in Hubley. Survived by sons, Ernest (Annette) Arsenault, Grande-Digue, N.B., David (Susan) Hawkes, Timberlea; daughters, Doris Landry (the late Albert), Shediac River, N.B., Rena LeClair (the late Leonard), Dieppe, N.B., Martina Davis (Paul), Lake of The Woods, Eunice Devanney (Robert), Seabright, Linda Brown (George), Tantallon; 22 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, Glorice Arsenault; second husband, John Hawkes; daughter, Patsy; grandsons, Robbie Devanney, Chris Davis and Ricky Arsenault; a number of brothers and sisters. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Tantallon. Funeral mass will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Lakeside, Father Jim Richards officiating. Interment to be held at a later date.
