Passed peacefully away at his residence in Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s on February 26, 2009, Louis Joseph Chiaramonte, aged 74 years. Predeceased by his grandparents Emma (Arye Rumsey) Goddard, formerly of St. John’s, N.L, Isaac Collins Goddard, formerly of Spoon Cove, Burin, N.L., his parents Louis and Muriel (Goddard) Chiaramonte, as well as a large number of family and friends in Newfoundland and Boston, Mass. Leaving to mourn his wife Elizabeth, sons Luigi, Marco (Claudia LaRouche) and daughter Anna (Glen Walsh). Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Friday, February 27 from 7 to 9 p.m., Saturday, February 28 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday, March 1, 2009 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 2, 2009 at 10 a.m. from the Carnell Memorial Chapel.
