Luther Warren Brydges 1902 - 2004 POINTE DU CHENE, NB - Luther Warren Brydges, of Pointe du Chene, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, July 16, 2004 at the age of 101. Born in Lutes Mountain on December 25, 1902, he was the son of the late Charles and Alice (Horsman) Brydges. He was a retired carpenter by trade. He is survived by his nine daughters, Willa Joudry (Leonard) of Moncton, Audrey Gordon of New London, Conn., Rita McDougall (Ralph) and Phyllis O'Donnell (James) both of St. John, Esther King (Robert) of Mississuaga, ON, Violet Chappell (Harry) of Shediac, Linda Waldron (John) of St. Catherines, ON, Joan Davidson of Brockville, ON, Lois King (Hayward) of Quispamsis, NB,; five sons, Robert (Bessie) and Nelson (Leona) both of Shediac, Gregory (Anna) of Memramcook and Claude of Pointe du Chene, Leslie (Florence) of Scoudouc; two sisters, Ruth Estabrooks of London, ON and Bessie O'Donnell of St. Martins, N.B.; a brother, Arnold of Shediac; 29 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Beatrice (MacPherson) in 2000; sisters, Myrtle Harrop, Helen Walker, Nina Trefry and Annie Brydges; brothers, Carl, Charles and Ernest. Resting at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home, 171 Lutz Street, on Monday, July 19, 2004 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Funeral service will be held at Tuttle Bros. Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, July 20, 2004 at 1:00pm. Interment will be held in Greendwood Cemetery, Pointe du Chene.
