Dasie Comeau 1908-2004 ST. CHARLES, NB - Dasie Comeau, 96, husband of the late Christine (Daigle) Comeau, of St. Charles, NB, passed away at La Villa Maria, St. Louis de Kent, on Tuesday, July 20, 2004. Born in Guimond Village, he was the son of the late William Comeau and the late Marguerite (Vautour) Comeau. Dasie was retired, he had worked as a Mechanic. He attended St. Charles Borromée Roman Catholic Church, St. Charles and he was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 30, Richibucto. Dasie had served in the Canadian Army during WW2. Dasie is survived by two daughters, Yvette Vaillancourt (Gordon) of Whitby, ON, Lauretta Johnson (Wesley) of St. Charles; one adopted daughter, Emma Maidment (Cecil) of Bouctouche; one son, Ola Comeau (Margaret) of Moncton; seven grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was the last surviving member of his family. He was predeceased by three sisters, Josephine, Pelagie and Marie; four brothers, Simon, Luc, Willie and Pascal. Resting at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM and Friday from 9:00 AM until time of funeral. The Funeral Mass will be held at -St. Charles Borromée Roman Catholic Church, St. Charles on Friday, July 23, 2004 at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place in the Parish Cemetery.
