Robert "Bob" Burke PORT ELGIN, NB - The death of Robert (Bob) Burke, age 55, of Port Elgin, occurred suddenly on Friday, July 23, 2004. Born in Moncton, he was a son of Stewart and Helen (Trenholm) Burke. Bob was a taxi operator for Waterloo Taxi in Kitchner, ON for 30 years, returning to Port Elgin, NB in 2003. Bob will be sadly missed by his two sons, Michael (Jennifer) and their sons, Zachary and Dylan, of Calgary, Jason (Solita) of Calgary; his parents, Helen and Stewart Burke, Port Elgin; a brother, Larry (Linda), Port Elgin; two nephews; as well as former wives, Charlene and Dianne; sister, Carol Swan. The remains are resting at the Jones Funeral Home, 3 W. Main Street, Port Elgin with visitation Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 27, 2004 at 11 am, Rev. Jay Ettinger officiating. Burial in Fernwood Cemetery, Port Elgin. www.jonesfuneralhome.ca
