Arthur Richard 1924 - 2004 SHEDIAC, NB - Arthur Richard, 79, of Villa Providence, Shediac, formally of Dieppe, passed away on Sunday, July 25, 2004 at his residence. Born in Acadieville, he was the son of the late Desiré and the late Laudia (née: Arsenault) Richard. Mr. Richard had retired from CN and was a former parishioner of Ste.-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church. He is survived by four daughters, Suzanne (Donald) Leger, Germaine (Yvon) Maillet and Gisele (Glen) Lucas, all three from Dieppe and Denise Richard of Enfield, NH; three sons, Maurice (Nancy) and Claude, both of Dieppe and Daniel "Danny" of Moncton; five sisters, Amanda Maillet of Dieppe, Yvonne LeBlanc and Geraldine (Ron) King, both of Moncton, Dora Daigle of Halifax and Maria (Russell) Callum of Rogersville; four brothers, Léo (Thérèse), Edonia "Don" (Alice) both of Acadieville, Ovila (Doris) and Albert (Dorothy) both of Moncton; 16 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Albertine in 2003; one infant daughter, Suzanne; one son, Donald and also by one brother, Eddie. Resting at Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, with visitation on Monday, July 26, 2004 from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 pm and also on Tuesday from 10 am until time of service. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from Ste-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, July 27, 2004 at 11 am. Interment in NotreDame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
