Harold Silas VILLA PROVIDENCE SHEDIAC, NB - Mr. Harold Silas of Villa Providence Shediac, NB and formerly of Greenwood Dr., Shediac passed away July 23, 2004 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital after a lengthy illness. Mr. Silas was born in Dalhousie, NB and was the son of the late John and Mary (Anderson) Silas. He was a retired welder for Hutchinson Ltd., Ont. and attended St.- Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Shediac, N.B. He was a Veteran of the Second World War 1939 - 1945. A Member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Shediac, NB. He is survived by his wife, Aurora Silas (LeBlanc) (Spinney); one daughter, Allen Hibac (Jim) of British Columbia; three step sons, Wayne Spinney (Wendy) of Toronto, ON, Barry Spinney (Lucy) of Wayland, MASS, Scott Spinney (Joie) of Ottawa, ON; two grandchildren, Sharon, Karen; eight step-grandchildren, Ryan, Don, Andrew, Jennefer, Kate, Amy, Jeffrey and Evan. He was predeceased by one step daughter, Gail (2001). Mr. Silas is resting at Coopérative Funeraire Passage Funeral Co- Operative with visiting hours Wednesday, July 28, 2004 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. The funeral service will be held at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Shediac on Thursday, July 29, 2004 at 11am. Interment will be in at Stouffville Ont Cemetery. As requested by the family, donations can be made to the donors choice.
