Alcide "Al" Gaudet
Alcide "Al" Gaudet 1920 - 2004 Alcide "Al" Gaudet, 84, of Manoir Notre-Dame, Moncton, passed away on Sunday, July 25, 2004 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Regional Hospital, Moncton, NB. Born in Saint-Damien, May 24, 1920, he was the son of the late Alexandre and Henriette (LeBlanc) Gaudet. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a plumber at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Regional Hospital. He is survived by two step-sons, Eugène LeBlanc (Minerva) of Shediac, Henri LeBlanc (Diane) of Dieppe; four sisters, Edna Richard (Wilfred) of Moncton, Rita Gaudet of Notre-Dame, Irma Saulnier of Bristol, Conn., Thérèse Saulnier of Florida; one brother, Omer (Rhéa) of Moncton; four grandchildren and nine great grandchilden. He was predeceased by his 1st wife Marguerite (Saulnier) Gaudet; 2nd wife Ella (Léger) LeBlanc-Gaudet; a brother, Ernest and by a sister, Jeanne Léger. Resting at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 88 Church St., Moncton (8581900) on Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m. until time of departure. The funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 28, 2004 at NotreDame-de-la-Paix Roman Catholic Church, Moncton. Interment in the parish Cemetery in Notre-Dame.
