Yvon Cormier 1922 - 2004 Yvon Cormier, 82, of the Villa du Repos and formerly of Germain St., Moncton passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2004 at the Villa du Repos after a lengthy illness. Born May 20, 1922 in Notre-Dame, he was the son of the late Henri and Evangeline (Despres) Cormier. Prior to his retirement, he was employed with Deluxe French Fries Ltd. for 25 years. He attended St. Louis-de-France Roman Catholic Church, Lewisville. Yvon will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 57 years, Dorilla (Léger) Cormier; two daughters, Gisèle MacLean (Roger LeBlanc) and Joanne Martin (Mose) of Dieppe; a son, Maurice of Moncton; two sisters, Irène Frechette of Québec, Germaine Stein (Ed) of New Jersey and two grandchildren, Kevin and Alysia. He was predeceased by two brothers, Loyola (1995) and Alcide (1998). A chapel service will be held at 11a.m. on Friday, July 30, 2004 at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 88 Church St., Moncton (858-1900). Visiting hours on Friday from 9a.m. until time of funeral service. Interment in Our Lady of Calvary Roman Catholic Cemetery, Dieppe.
