Mary Grennan MIRAMICHI, NB - Mrs. Mary Grennan, of the Miramichi Senior Citizen Home, formerly of Barnaby River passed away at the Miramichi Senoir Citizen Home on Wednesday, July 28, 2004, at the age of 83. Born in Nowlanville, Mary was the daughter of the late Peter and Theresa (Ivory) Esson. Mary was a homemaker and attended the Most Pure Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church in Barnaby. Mary is survived by her son Patrick and his wife Glenda (Connolly) and their two children, Vanessa-Dawn and Melissa-Lynn of Barnaby; three sisters, Evelyn (Frank Butler) of Renous, Helen Donovan of Renous, Catherine Esson of St. John and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband Henry, Mary was predeceased by three brothers, Hubert, Layton, Joseph and two sisters, Irene Esson and Carmel Gill. The family will receive relatives and friends at The Most Pure Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room in Barnaby on Thursday July 29, 2004 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Vigil prayers will be held on Thursday at 1:30pm at the slumber room. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday July 30, 2004 at 11 am with Father Bob McGuire officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Miramichi Senior Citizens Home.
