Marie Henriette Caissie 1916 - 2004 ROGERSVILLE, NB - At the Foyer Assomption in Rogersville, Friday, July 30, 2004, at the age of 88, passed away, Marie Henriette Caissie, spouse of the late Eugène Caissie (1978), formerly from Acadieville. Born in Pleasant Ridge on March 9, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Edouard (Eddy) Caissie and the late Madeleine Chiasson. She is survived by six daughters, Madeleine (Émile) Gallant, Eugénie "Jean " (Tom) Queena, Hester (Ernest) Daigle, Florence (Roger) Robichaud, all from Moncton, Anne-Marie (Sylvère) Doiron from Acadieville and Virgine (Aquilla) Arseneault from Rogersville; three sons, Léo (Marie) from Moncton, Fernand (Rose-Marie) from SaintCharles and Johnny (Carmelle) from Acadieville; 21 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; two sisters, Anna (Eugène) Doiron from Moncton and Catherine (Alyre) Doucet from Massachusetts; as well as four brothers, Calixte (Léonie), Abel (late Florence) and Eugène, all from Rogersville, and Fred (late Mary) from Doaktown. She was predeceased by two brothers, Edmond (Marianne) and Médric (Arfini). Mme Caissie was a member of the St-François-de-Sales Parish of Rogersville, the Association of Monument Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption, the Association des Ami(e)s des Trappistes Inc., of Cursillos and Institut Féminin, she also volunteered over a 1000 hours at the Foyer Assomption in Rogersville. She was also a founder of the Charismatique group in Rogersville, and was part the the Legion of Mary. The funeral service was held at the Saint-François-de-Sales Roman Catholic Church in Rogersville, Monday, August 2, 2004 at 3p.m. Burial took place at the Acadieville Cemetery. Donations to the Alzheimer's Foundations or to the Foyer Assomption would be appreciated.
