Hector Fontaine 1915-2004 Hector Fontaine, 88, of Churchill Street, Moncton, passed away peacefully Friday August 13, 2004 at The Moncton Hospital following a short illness. Born November 1, 1915 in GrandeDigue, he was the son of the late Théophile, and Marie-Rose (Babineau) Fontaine. He was employed many years for Wallace Warehouse and Cartage Ltd. Hector is survived by Rita (Gallant) Fontaine, for the past 57 years, his loving wife; three daughters, Joanne Fontaine (John Power), and Rachelle Purdy (Lloyd) both of Moncton, Lucille Fontaine (Léona Arsenault) of P.E.I.; three sons, Francis (Nadine) of Burlington, ON, Robert (Francine) of Moncton, Bernard (Rachelle) of Fredericton; nine grandchildren, Jeffrey, Michael, Kevin, Vanessa, Nathalie, Renée, Erin, Marielle, Stéphane; a great-grandson Charlie; and a brother, Jim Fontaine of Moncton. He's also predeceased by four sisters, Léozée, Annie-Belle, Evelyn, Marguerite; three brothers, Edgar, Georges, and Néri. No visiting hours by request. The funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday August 16, 2004 at NotreDame-de-Gr~ce Roman Catholic Church (Parkton). Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery,. Dieppe.
