Barbara Sears WESTCOCK, NB - The death of Barbara Sears, age 66, wife of Duane Sears, of Westcock, occurred on Saturday, August 21, 2004 at the Sackville Memorial Hospital Born in Woodpoint, she was a daughter of the late Cedric and Dorothy (Stokes) Ward. Formerly employed with the Fort Folly First Nation, retiring in 2001. She was a member of the Main Street Baptist Church. An Amateur Radio operator, she was a member of the WESTCUMB Radio Club. Barbara will be sadly missed by her husband of 51 years, Duane Sears, Westcock; three sons, Bruce (Linda) of Amherst, Phillip (Jeanne) of Sackville, Mark (Kimberley) of Miramichi; 13 grandchildren; brother, Bedford (Donna) Ward of Westcock and a sister, Doris (Louie) Daigle of Moncton. She was predeceased by a son, Edward, in 1978. The remains have been forwarded for cremation. A memorial service will be held at the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville (364-1300) on Saturday, August 28, 2004 at 11 am., followed by a time of refreshment.
