Peter M. Stevens SHEDIAC CAPE, NB - Peter M. Stevens, FCA, 73, of Shediac Cape, passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 4, 2004. Peter was a graduate from Rothesay Collegiate School (1949). He qualified as a Chartered Accountant (1995) and was Office Managing Partner of the Thorne Ernst and Whinney (now KPMG) at the time of his retirement in 1987. He was past president of the Moncton Rotary Club, the New Brunswick Institute of Chartered Accountants and Moncton Club Ltd. At the time of his death, he was a member of the N.B. Institute of Chartered Accountants, Moncton Rotary Club, Greater Moncton Probus Club, Pointe de Chene Yacht Club and Marina and treasurer of the New Brunswick Lawn Bowling Club. Peter is survived by his wife of 47 years, Barbara (Waddell) Stevens; son, Mark, Riverview; daughters, Ann Chamberlaine (John), Moncton, Cathy, Halifax, Jeannie, Riverview; grandchildren, Sean, Sammy, and Kristen Chamberlaine. In keeping with Peter's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place. In Peter's memory, donations to The Friends of The Moncton Hospital or memorial of choice would be appreciated.
