Aubin Bernard Aubin Bernard, 82, of Villa du Repos, formerly of Cedar Street, Moncton, passed away Monday September 6, 2004 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital. Born May 15, 1922 in DeBlois, PEI, he was the son of the late Ziah, and Fédélice (Arsenault) Bernard. He served five years with the Canadian Army in W.W. II, moved to Toronto where he was employed with Wolverine Brass, then moved to Moncton where he retired from Canada Post. He attended and served in various functions N.D.-de-Gr~ce Roman Catholic Church, member and past-president of Club d'Age d'Or de Parkton (1985), and member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Moncton Branch No. 6. Aubin also enjoyed visiting the sick in hospital, and attending parishioners funerals. He is survived by his wife, Doris, (Arsenault) Bernard of Moncton; a brother, Melvin (Eunice) of Summerside; two sisters-in-law, Dorothée Arsenault, and Mélina Arsenault; two brothers-in-law, Father Donald Arsenault and Fred Arsenault (Marie), several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A sister, Mai Gaudet; a brother, Fidel, and four half-brothers, Edouard, Alphonse, Émile, and Henri Bernard predeceased him. Remains resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (8581900). Visiting hours Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of departure (10:45). The funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday September 9, 2004 at N.-D.de-Gr~ce Roman Catholic Church, Moncton. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe. The Royal Canadian Legion, Moncton Branch No. 6, will hold a veteran service Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
