Stella Bourgeois 1912 - 2004 Stella Bourgeois, 91, of Dieppe, passed away on Friday, September 10, 2004 at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Leger's Corner, she was the daughter of the late Pierre and the late Elizabeth (née: LeBlanc) Gauvin. Mrs. Bourgeois was a member of the CWL, Les Dames de Ste-Anne and a parishioner of Ste-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church. She is survived by five daughters, Helene Daigle of Dieppe, Jeanne Poirier, Lorraine Despres (Raymond Leger), both of Moncton, Marguerite (Edgar) Hachey of Pte-du-Chne and Yvonne (Terry) Clancy of Riverview; two sons, Raymond (Dorice) of Dieppe and Michael (Bernice Bourgeois) of Moncton; one sister, Rachel LeBlanc of Moncton; three brothers, Gerard "Pete" (Germaine) Gauvin of Moncton, Ivan Gauvin of Stitsville, ON and Armand (Marguerite) Gauvin of Lachine, PQ; 15 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; daughter-inlaw, Cathy Hamilton-Bourgeois of Dieppe; son-in-law, Ivon Despres of Moncton as well as several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Bourgeois was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 1991; three sisters, Edna, Jeannita and Minnie and also by three brothers, Camille, Thomas and Raymond. Visitation will be held from Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901 on Sunday, September 12, 2004 from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 pm and also on Monday from 10 am until time of departure. Funeral mass will be celebrated from Ste-Thérèse-de-l'Enfant-Jesus Roman Catholic Church, on Monday, September 13, 2004 at 11 am. Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
