Rossiter "Ross" Kelland 1954 - 2004 Rossiter "Ross" Kelland, of Suffolk St., Riverview, passed away at Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital on Monday, September 13, 2004 at the age of 49. Born in St. John's, NL, Ross was the son of the late Richard and Doris (Penny) Kelland. He was retired from the Canadian Armed Forces as a Master Corporal and attended the Gunningsville United Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Terry (Steves); daughter, Courtney Kern of Halifax; step-daughter, Angela Allen of Riverview; step-son, Jason Allen of Halifax; brothers, Richard Kelland (Annie) of NL and Marvin Kelland of Victoria, BC; sisters, Marie Simmons (Eric) of St. John's, NL., Anita Sondey (Brian) of Statesville, North Carolina, Joyce Granter (Terry) of Labrador and Ruth Brown (Terry) of Trinity, NL; and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, William Augustus Kelland and Allan Kelland. Resting at Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd., Riverview on Tuesday, September 14, 2004 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Funeral Service will be held at Riverview Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, September 15, 2004 at 2pm with Rev. Blair Holden officiating. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
