Donald Drisdelle Donald Drisdelle, 61, of Moncton passed away Tuesday September 14, 2004 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital following a sudden illness. Born December 11, 1942 in Moncton, he was the son of Alban Drisdelle and the late Marie Cormier. Don had been a member of the Moncton business community for over 40 years, most recently as co-owner of M & D vending (1991-Present) and former owner of The Shopping Basket (1980-1992) & Don's Variety (19711982). He was a past director of the board for Les Caisses Populaires Acadiennes (Lewisville branch), and the Lewisville Minor Hockey Association. He also served as president of the Young Liberals Association during the 1960's. Besides his father, he will be sadly missed by his wife, Pauline (Leger) Drisdelle; his four sons, Marc (Geneviève) of Dieppe, Daniel (Suzie) of Moncton, Serge of Calgary, Claude of Banff; a sister, Marie-Claire Drisdelle of Moncton; two brothers, Léonard (Irène) of Dieppe, Roland (Cheryl) of Pte-duChène; grandchildren, Kloé, Philipe; many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. Remains resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (8581900). Visiting hours Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Friday from 10 a.m. until time of departure (10:45). The funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday September 17, 2004 at St-Louis-deFrance Roman Catholic Church (Lewisville). Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
