81, of Spencer Memorial Home, Moncton, N.B., and formerly of Peterborough, ON, and Charlottetown, P.E.I., with his loving wife Shirley at his side, passed away peacefully at his residence on Friday, February 27, 2009. Born in Peterborough, he was the son of the late Percy and Florence (Saunders) Dallin. Norman was retired from a managerial position at Canada Packers, Moncton, and was a member of First Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and on various committees. Besides his wife, Shirley (Buck) Dallin, Norman will be sadly missed by his daughter, Lyn; son, Steve (Kerri); grandchildren, Anthony (Alanna), Aaron (Krista), Mandy (David); great-grandchildren, Fremont, Andrew, Tullallah; brother, John (Lynn); sister-in-law, Marilyn; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Beryl (Enborg) Dallin and his great-grandson, Tanner. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (506-858-1995), Sunday, 2 to 4, 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service, Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, Monday, March 2, 2009, 1:30 p.m. Reception following the service.
