Olive K. Jones Olive K. Jones, 83, of The Briarlea, Moncton, and formerly of Ottawa passed away at her residence on Friday, October 1, 2004. Born in Mercer Settlement, daughter of the late Thomas and Lettie (Keirstead) Hutchinson. Olive was a Past President of the Ladies Auxiliary and active member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #616, Ottawa. Olive will be sadly missed by her daughter, Linda O'Connell (Brian), Ottawa; son, Rick Jones, Moncton; grandchildren, Shawn O'Connell, Wendy O'Connell-Smith, Craig Labelle, Ottawa; five great grandchildren; sisters, Gertie Scriven, London, ON, Georgie Thorne, Fredericton, Myrtle Foster, Darlings Island, Peggy Anderson, (George), Miramichi, Mabel Little (Jimmy), Saint John; brothers, Howard Hutchinson, Hampton, Fred Hutchinson (Eileen), Mercer Settlement, Donnie Hutchinson (Harriet), Grand Bay, Murray Hutchinson, Coles Island; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Norman V. Jones; brothers, Harold, Bill, Charlie, Gordon, Ken, Lorne. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) Tuesday 2 to 4. Private family service to take place at a later date. Interment, Riverbank Cemetery, Norton.
