G. Allison Copp 1942 - 2004 G. Allison Copp, 62, of Moncton passed away on October 5, 2004 after a sudden illness. He was born in Riverside-Albert on June 5, 1942 the son of Donald and Jean (Alexander) Copp. He was a truck driver and worked at Tri-Gil Paving for 13 years. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting. He liked the stock cars races and also enjoyed old cars. Most of all he loved family get togethers. Sharing time with his family and friends was very special to Allison, laughing and telling stories is how he will be remembered. He will be deeply missed by his parents, Donald and Jean Copp of Riverside-Albert; his special friend, Alma Smith of Moncton; his two daughters, Valerie Douthwright (Tim) of Pine Glen, Kim Copp (Ben) of Caledonia Mountain Rd.; his son, Allen Copp (Wendy) of Lower Cape; a step daughter, Rosie Smith of Moncton and stepson, Ryan Smith (Stacy) of Toronto; four sisters, Janet Rossiter (Walter) of Riverside-Albert, Audrey Griffith (Brian) of Riverview, Charlotte Nelson (Brent) of RiversideAlbert, Faye Rossiter of Hopewell Cape; three brothers, Donald Copp (Beverly) of Edgett's Landing, Gary Copp (Elaine) of Riverview, Philip Copp (Barb) of Coverdale; his five precious grandchildren, Megan, Michael, Alicia, Tyson and Tanayia. He will also be sadly missed by his longtime friend and mother of his children, Dorothy (Jones) of Hopewell Hill; his Aunt, Amy Steeves of Moncton; several cousins, nieces, nephews and by all Alma's family. There will be private family visitation. The funeral service will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home, Hopewell Cape, on Friday, October 8, 2004 at 2pm with Hugh Morrisey officiating. Interment will be held in the Hopewell Cemetery, Hopewell Hill. Following the service the family will be meeting with relatives and friends at the funeral home for further sharing of memories and refreshments.
