Brian Martin Wick
It is with deepest regret that the family of Brian Martin Wick announces his sudden passing on the morning of Feb. 25th, 2009. Brian was born in Prince Albert on September 6th, 1967 to Edward and Shirley Wick of Alvena, SK. This day was his paternal grandmothers 80th birthday and also his aunt Eli Wick's birthday. Brian is survived by his parents, two brothers; Gordon of Vancouver and Barry of Regina, and one sister, Sherry (Michael) of Prince Albert, three aunts, Ella Bailey of Donalda, Alberta and Enid Moe of Camrose, Alberta, June Martin of Kelowna, B.C., one uncle, Abraham Heppner of Prince Albert, two nieces, Olivia Swerhone- Wick of Saskatoon and Stacey Wingham (Dan) of Saskatoon, and three nephews, Shawn Wingham of Prince Albert, George Wingham of Saskatoon, and Prescott Wick of Oliver, B.C., and numerous cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, August and Christina Martin of Donalda, AB., and his paternal grandparents, George and Anna Wick of Hoey, Sk., ten uncles, four aunts and two cousins. Brian was a resident of a Prince Albert Group home where he was well loved by both, the staff and his co-residents as well as the staff and his co-residents as well as the staff and co-workers at Kin Enterprises. Brian loved life and found humor in everything. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. A memorial service will be held on Tues. March 3rd at 2 p.m. at Saron Lutheran Church near Hagen. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations be given to Bethania Lutheran Church Cemetery fund. Arrangements are entrusted to Kushneryk Family Service, Wakaw.
