Bridget Mona Anne Cowan Foster BELLEVILLE, ON - Bridget Mona Anne Cowan Foster passed away on Friday, October 15th, in her 85th year, at home. Mona was the daughter of James and Anne Cowan (née Sewell) of Cowan's Creek. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Susan and son-in-law, Brian Stevenson; her son, Andrew and his wife, Lynn; her son, Kevin and his wife, Lori. She was much loved by her grandchildren, Bridget and her husband, Andy Margetson, Liam and his wife, Alison McArthur, Dustin Foster and Anthony, Eric and Kristina Foster. She will also be missed by her great-grandsons, Will and Niall Margetson and Calum Stevenson as well as cousin, Brian Melanson and many other family members and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Art; brother, Albert; and sister, Florence. Mona graduated from Htel-Dieu Hospital, Moncton, New Brunswick in 1943. She nursed in Moncton, Trois Rivieres, Montreal, Jonquieres (Arvida), Quebec, Caraquet and Lameque. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 29th at 1:00 pm at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Pokemouche, New Brunswick, Father David Ferguson officiating. Interment will be in Saint Peter-in-Chains Cemetery, Caraquet. A memorial celebration will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, October 23rd at Belleville Funeral Chapel, Father Richard Whelan officiating.
