Hayward W. MacDonald

Hayward W. MacDonald 1926-2004 MIRAMICHI, NB - Mr. Hayward Wilmot MacDonald, husband of the late Melinda MacDonald, of the MacDonald Road, Glenwood, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Tuesday, October 19, 2004, at the age of 78. Born in Glenwood, he was the son of the late Wilmot and Lena (MacDonald) MacDonald. He was a retired employee of School District #10 and a member of St. Stephens United Church, Black River Bridge. He is survived by two daughters, Shirley Yungwirth (Russell), of Prince Albert, Sask. and Linda Truax (Randy), of LeBanon, Conn., USA; two sons, Lawrence MacDonald (Lorraine), of Glenwood and Tony MacDonald (Helen), of Moncton; one sister, Jessie MacDonald, of Glenwood; two brothers, Dallas MacDonald (Cecile) and Wayne MacDonald (Anna), all of Glenwood; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Melinda, in 2003; three sisters, Edna MacLean, Shirley Fitzpatrick and Verne Wiedman; one infant sister, Marjorie; two infant brothers, Osborne and Wayne. Visitation will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King Street, on Thursday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Friday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held from St. Stephens United Church, on Friday, October 22, 2004, at 2 pm, conducted by Rev. David Cleveland. Interment will be in the Black River Community Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Extra Mural Nursing Program, or any charity of the donors' choice, would be appreciated by the family.
