Edward Joseph Donovan 1934 - 2004 Edward Donovan, 69, of Essex Street, Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, October 18, 2004. Born in Moncton on November 2, 1934, he was the son of the late Ralph and Elizabeth (Leger) Donovan. Ed retired from Canada Post in Moncton and enjoyed many summers at his cottage in Caissie Cape. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Georgina (Melanson) Donovan; sons, Shane (Beth) of Maugerville, NB, Kevin (Lori) of Petawawa, ON, Brian (Barbara) of Moncton; daughters, Ann Cape (Jim) of Markham, ON, Maureen Thom (Hamish) of Kelowna, BC; grandchildren, Madison, Peter, Ryley, Alec, Alycia, Kayla, Euan, and Zoe. Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home with visitation on Wednesday, October 20th, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. A funeral Mass will be celebrated from St. Lawrence O'Toole Roman Catholic Church, Irishtown, on Thursday, October 21, 2004 at 10:00 AM, followed by a reception in the church hall. Interment in the St. Lawrence O'Toole Cemetery, Irishtown.
