Jean-Baptiste Richard Jean-Baptiste Richard, 84, husband of Eveline (Thébeau) Richard, of Villa du Repos, Moncton, NB, passed away at Villa du Repos, Moncton, NB on Thursday, October 21, 2004 after a lengthy illness. Born in Acadieville, NB on June 13, 1920, he was the son of the late Philias Richard and the late Marie-Jeanne Daigle. He was a heavy equipment operator for Restigouche Construction for 23 years. He attended the Immaculé Conception Roman Catholic Church, Acadieville. He is survived by his wife, Eveline Richard; five daughters, Exilda Cormier (Alfred), Dora George, Anne-Marie Richard all of Bouctouche, Annette Poirier (Réal) of Chambly, QC, Angèle Pollock (Bruce) of Stillville, ON; four foster daughters, Diane Duplessis (Gerry) of Rexton, Sandra Richard of Aldouane, Claudette Richard of Richibucto, Hélène Hachey (André) of Moncton; three sons, Emile (Lydia) of St-Hubert, QC, JeanPaul (Claira) of Lakeville, Eloi of Acadieville; two brothers, Gérard (Dorilla) of Rogersville, Alyre (Annette) of Bouctouche; 14 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; Godfather, Brother Sylvain Babineau of Sainte-Foy, QC and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by two sons, Sylvain and Paul; one brother, Aldéric. Resting at the Immaculé Conception Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Acadieville with visitation on Saturday, October 23 from 7:00 to 9:00, Sunday, October 24 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm, and Monday, October 25 from 9:00 to 10:45 am. The Funeral Service will be held at the Immaculé Conception Roman Catholic Church, Acadieville on Monday, October 25, 2004 at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in the Parish Cemetery. Arrangements in care of Maillet Funeral Home, Bouctouche.
