Jean Marie (Ti Jean) Levesque Jean Marie (Ti Jean) Levesque, 88, of Moncton, passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital on Sunday, October 24, 2004, after a sudden stroke and battle with cancer. Born in Chandler, Quebec, son of the late Jean Baptiste and Helen (Brochu) Levesque. Jean was a retired CNR Conductor with 40 years service, a decorated Veteran of the 2nd World War having served time overseas and was a prisoner of war for two years. He was a former member of Moncton Legion #6 and the CNR War Vets. Jean enjoyed his many grandchildren and great grandchildren. During his later years, he especially enjoyed his summers with his daughter and son-in-law at their cottage in the Haliburton Highlands, ON. Jean will be sadly missed by his wife of 47 years, Louise (Barrett) Levesque; daughters, Deanne Bard (Luc), Edmundston, Margaret MacQuarrie (Leigh), Canning, NS, Rosemary MacDonald (Gerry), Burlington, ON; sons, Charles (Mary-Lynn), Fredericton, Kim (Anne), Moncton; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his first wife, Kathleen Rogers; sisters, Yvette and Ida; brothers, Ferdinand and Adeodat (Barley). In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place with no visiting hours or funeral service. Interment in the family plot in Edmundston. In Jean's memory donations to Friends of The Moncton Hospital or The Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
