Passed peacefully away at the L.A. Miller Centre on Saturday, Aug. 9, 2008, Thomas A. Evans, age 94 years. Predeceased by his wife Viola and son Douglas. Leaving to mourn five sons: Stan (Marie); Don; Robert (Karen); Jerry; and Ed (Cathy); three daughters: Doris Squires (Ben); Ruby Mackey (Ron); and Marian Burry (Roger); 23 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Sunday from 7 p.m.– 9 p.m. and Monday from 10 a.m.– 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2008, at 9:30 a.m. from St. Teresa's Church with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
