Vaughn Allen Bannister THE GLADES, NB - Vaughn Allen Bannister, of the Jordan Life Care Centre, The Glades, formerly of Elgin, age 79, passed away Friday, November 5, 2004 at his residence. Born November 27, 1924 in Hillside, he was a son of the late Nelson and Ada (Martin) Bannister. He was retired, having been a self employed truck driver. He is survived by his wife, Marion (Sheffar); daughters, Glendine Lutes (Stewart), Joyce Barbour (Gary) both of Petitcodiac; Patricia Steeves (Lucas) of Elgin; sister, Evelyn Goggin (Austin) of Sussex Corner; grandchildren, Bonnie Warren, Heather Perry, Judy Berry, Mark Barbour, Laura Barbour; six great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Allison; sisters, Marion Smith, Dorothy Bannister; brothers, Stewart Bannister, Sherman Bannister. Resting at Armstrong's Funeral Home, Petitcodiac, with visiting hours on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. The funeral will be held from Armstrong's Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 9, 2004 at 2pm, Rev. Charlotte Youland officiating. Burial will be held in All Saints Anglican Cemetery, Church's Corner. For those who desire, donations to the Parkinson's Foundation, the Jordan Life Care Centre or the memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
