Arlington Dixon Ward SACKVILLE, NB - The death of Arlington Dixon Ward, age 80, of Sackville, occurred at the Drew Nursing Home on Saturday, November 6, 2004. Born in Sackville, he was a son of the late Parlee and Electra (Maxwell) Ward. A veteran of World War II, he served in the Canadian Army in England. Formerly employed with the CP Telegraph, which later became CN/CP, he retired to Sackville. Arlie is survived by a sister, Ada Michailoff, Scarborough, ON; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Harold and George; sisters, Vivian (in infancy) and Doris McIver. The remains are resting at the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville with visitation on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 10, 2004 at 11 am, reception to follow. Burial in the Sackville Cemetery. Sackville Branch #26 of the Royal Canadian Legion will hold a memorial service on Tuesday evening at 7:30 pm.
