Marie Bernadine Reade AMHERST, NS - It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Bernadine Reade on Sunday, November 7, 2004 at Moncton Hospital, N.B. as a result of complications following surgery. Born in Cap Pele, N.B. on March 31, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Thaddee and Annie (LeBlanc) LeBlanc. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Everett of Amherst; one daughter, Diane (Keith) Chapman of Lorneville, N.S; one son, Paul of Kingston ON; one brother, Albert (Alma) of Cap Pele, N.B.; four grandchildren, Wally (Leanne) McIlvena, Maranda (Doug) Abbott, Sarah and Amanda Cormier; several nieces and nephews. Marie was predeceased by three sisters, Elizabeth, Julie and Adrienne; three brothers, Adrice, Louis and Guy. Her remains are resting in Campbell's Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst (902-667-9906) with visiting on Tuesday, November 9, 2004 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. with Parish prayers at 8 p.m. Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2004 at 10 a.m. from Nativity Of Our Lady Roman Catholic Church, 50 Cornwall St., Amherst with Father Vernon Driscoll officiating.
