Vera Brown LAKEVILLE, NB - The death of Vera Brown, age 86, of Lakeville, occurred at the Moncton City Hospital on Sunday, November 7, 2004. Born in Caledonia, ON, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Mabel (Hodgkins) Poole. A former resident of Ontario, she moved to New Brunswick in 1968. For 13 years she worked at Lakeville Grocery, retiring in 1984. She was a member of Lakeville Golden Dears. She enjoyed cards, darts, bowling and bingo. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Linda Stiles of Lakeville; her son, Clifford (Vera) Judge of Owen Sound, ON; five grandchildren, Lynda, David, Jeffrey, Lori and Gordon; and five great-grandchildren, David, Colin, Lauren, Katrina and Samantha. She was predeceased by her husband, Carl Brown; her son, Robert; a sister, Jean as well as a brother, Dick. The remains are resting at the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville (364-1300) with visitation Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 10, 2004 at 3 pm, Rev. Carol Mullin officiating. Burial in the Dorchester Cemetery.
