Arcade Melanson

Arcade Melanson 1915 - 2004 Arcade Melanson, 89, of Manoir Notre-Dame, formerly of Dieppe, passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2004 at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Scoudouc, he was the son of the late Joseph and the late Alvina (née: Belliveau) Melanson. Mr. Melanson had retired from CN, he was a parishioner of Ste. Thérèse Roman Catholic Church. He is survived by two sisters, Yvonne Landry of Memramcook and Marie Cormier of Fredericton; one daughter-in-law, Gloria Melanson of Dieppe; three grandchildren, Maurice, Denis and Normand "Ti-Norm"; two great grandchildren, Melanie and Nicholas; special niece, Alphonsine (Francois) Richard of Dieppe as well as other nieces and nephews. Mr. Melanson was predeceased by his wife, Corinne in 1999; one son, NormandGuy; one sister, Emma and also by two brothers, Albert and Marcelin. Visitation will be held from Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901 on Tuesday, November 9, 2004 from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm and also Wednesday from 10 am until time of departure. Funeral mass will be celebrated from Ste-Thérèse-de-l'Enfant-Jesus Roman Catholic Church, on Wednesday, November 10, 2004 at 11 am. Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB. Donations to the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family. CHARTERSVILLE
