Aloysius U. Paquette
Aloysius U. Paquette 1927 - 2004 Aloysius Paquette, 76, passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Sunday, November 7, 2004. Born in Souris, PEI December 19, 1927, he was the step-son of the late Gordon and son of Lillian (Paquet) Paquette. A veteran of the Korean War, Aloysius served with the 2nd Battalion RCR from 1950-58 in London, ON, Fort Lewis, Washington, and Korea. He retired as an assistant brick layer and was a member of Union Local #900. He loved hunting, and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Florida (Richard) Paquette; sons, Arthur (Susan) of Moncton, Richard (Leslie) of Moncton; daughters, Carol Wilson (Larry) of Riverview, Diane Murray (Darrell) of Moncton, Linda Arsenault (Donald) of Moncton; four sisters, 14 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; an aunt, Isabel McIntyre. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Brenda Didychuck; a grandson, Michael, and a sister, Mary Joyce. All are invited to attend a Royal Canadian Legion Service to be held on Tuesday, November 9 at 7:00 PM, followed by visitation from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Fair Haven Funeral Home, 1177 Salisbury Road. A funeral service will be held from the chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home on Wednesday, Nov 10 at 11:00 AM, Fr. Allison Carroll officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the memorial of the donors choice. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
