Mr. Edward Maher (Ned) MIRAMICHI, NB - Mr. Edward (Ned) Maher, 81, of St. Michael's Street, Miramichi, NB, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 10, 2004 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital. Born in Chatham, NB the son of the late Arthur and Blanche Maher, Edward was the president and Funeral Director of Maher's Funeral Home. He is survived by two daughters, Mary Maher of Miramichi, Carol Anne Maher of Toronto; two sons, James Maher (Mary) of Halifax, NS, Harry Maher (Jennifer) of Miramichi; sisters, Yvonne (Bunny) Elhatton of Bathurst, Margie Marquis of Ottawa; grandchildren, Jordan Delong, Aaron Maher, Ethan Maher, Brianna Maher and Hayley Maher. He was predeceased by his wife, Pearl Maher and daughter, Joanie. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, Novemeber 13, 2004 at 1pm from St. Michael's Basilica, Miramichi. Interment in Church Cemetery.
