Cinthie B. Alward 1913 - 2004 SALISBURY, NB - Cinthie B. Alward, 91, of Salisbury, passed away at at her residence on Saturday, November 20, 2004. Born in Coverdale, NB she was the daughter of the late Edward and Mildred (Hopper) Blakney. She was a member of the Salisbury United Baptist Church in Salisbury. She is survived by two daughters, Betty Gallant and her husband, Paul of Riverview, Joan Steeves of Salisbury; five sons, Bud Alward of Hamilton, ON. Bill Alward and his wife, Ida of Coverdale, NB, Clint Alward and his wife, Betty of Coverdale, NB, Roger Alward and his wife, Carol of Salisbury and David Alward of Salisbury; 20 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one great-greatgrandchild; numerous nieces and nephews. Cinthie was last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Alward; one son, Wayne Alward and by several siblings. Visitation is at the Riverview Funeral Home, Pine Glen Road, Riverview on Monday, November 22, 2004 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at Riverview Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 23, 2004 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Peter Sherwood officiating. Interment will be in Five Points Cemetery. Donations in Cinthie's memory may be made to the Diabetic Association or to charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by her family.
