MURPHY, Mary Ann (North) June 7, 1927 - February 27, 2009 — Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family, Mary Ann Murphy (North) of Bay de Verde in her 82nd year. Predeceased by husband, Aiden (1995); parents: Mary and Andrew North; brothers: Joseph (Genevieve) and Andrew (Alice); sister-in-law, Alice North; brother-in-law, Brendan Murphy. Left with fond and loving memories are her children, special nephew, Ronald (Hazel) North; grandson Damian (Amanda); great-grandchildren Halley and Hiliary; grandson Derek (Shelly); son, Gerard (Geraldine) Murphy; grandson Michael (Amanda); granddaughter Kelly-Ann (Luke); son, Fabian (Paulette) Murphy; grandson Danny (April); granddaughters Ashley and Alison; daughter, Mary Lynne Murphy; grandsons Shamus and Liam Walsh; daughter Madonna (Donald) King; grandson Patrick; granddaughter Mary Kate; brother Thomas North; also a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Hopkins Funeral Home, Old Perlican on Saturday from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Monday, March 2, 2009 at 10 a.m. from the Assumption Roman Catholic Church and Cemetery, Bay de Verde.
