Gerald Z. Gaudet 1930 - 2004 Gerald Z. Gaudet, 74, passed away suddenly at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, December 1, 2004. He was the son of the late Aurelien and Anna (Leger) Gaudet. Gerald was the first NB employee of Westinghouse Seimens of Canada, where he worked as an Electrical Mechanic for 44 years until his retirement in 1990. His loving spirit will be remembered always by his family and friends, whom he loved to spend time with. His grandchildren also brought him great joy. The summer cottage brought many exciting times and great games of horseshoes. He is survived by his loving wife, Olida (Gautreau) of 50 years; one daughter, Dianne (Roger) Martin, Ottawa; two sons, Michel, Riverview and Jean (Linda), Moncton; four grandchildren, Brigitte, Luke, Mitchell and Colin. He is also survived by his step-mother, Marie Gaudet; one brother, Paul (Alma), Lyne, MA; two sisters, Aurella (Robert) Michaud, Moncton and Yvette (Brian) Morrisey, ON; and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one brother, Roger. Visitation will take place at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Friday evening, December 3, 2004 from 7 to 9pm. Memorial service will take place on Saturday morning at 11am, December 4, 2004, in the Chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home. A reception for family and friends to follow.
