BROWN, Frank James — Passed peacefully away at the Palliative Care unit, St. John’s, on February 27, 2009 of St. John’s, formerly of Eastport, age 74 years. Predeceased by parents James and Elizabeth Brown; sisters: May Matchim (Nick), Annie Turner (Harvey), Edith Powell (Henry) brothers: Lewis (Lurley) and John (Betty); also two special friends: Eldon Moss and Adrian Hanlon. Leaving to mourn loving wife and best friend of 53 years, Ivy (Moss); daughters: Madonna Dyke (Gordon), Judy Lewis (Perry), Glynis Hann (Don) and Millicent Bishop (Stephen); sons: Barry (Marcella) and Paul (Angela) sister, Olive Babstock (Gerald); sister-in-law, Delphine Moss; 13 grandchildren: Christopher and Ryan Brown; Susan and Gregory Dyke; P.J. and Andrea Lewis, Sabrina and Donovan Hann; Clark, Joel and Julia Bishop; Nicholas and Camren Cumby; four great-grandchildren whom he dearly loved: Kyle Dyke, Parker Stone, Riley Lewis and Karson Lewis; a large circle of nieces, nephews, and friends. Special friends are Adriana Brown, Victor and Olilve Sharpe and Fred and Marie Barrett. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Rd. Visitation from 3-9 p.m. Saturday and from 2-9 p.m. Sunday. Visitation will resume on Monday, March 2, at Squire’s Funeral Home, Eastport, from 2-9 p.m. Funeral service on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at 2 p.m. from Holy Cross Anglican Church.
