Dorilla Nowlan BOUCTOUCHE, NB - Dorilla Nowlan, 74, wife of Laurie Nowlan, of Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste, Bouctouche, and formerly of Sainte-Marie de Kent passed away at Manoir Sainte-Jean Baptiste, Bouctouche, NB on Sunday, December 5, 2004 after a lengthy illness. Born in Sainte-Marie de Kent, NB on July 4, 1930 she was the daughter of Marie Léger Allain of Moncton and the late Henri Melanson. She was a housewife and was a member of Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Sainte-Marie de Kent. She was a member of the Sainte-Marie de Kent Golden Age Club. Dorilla is survived by her husband, Laurie Nowlan of Sainte-Marie de Kent; four daughters, Andréa Gaudet (Char les), Fernande Lacenaire (James) both of Sainte-Marie de Kent, Aurella Daigle (Claude) of Sainte-Anne de Kent, Odette Goguen (Yvon) of Notre-Dame de Kent; one son, Eric Nowlan (Jacqueline) of Sainte-Marie de Kent; three sisters, Ella Melanson of Moncton, Irène Landry (Omer) of Sainte-Marie de Kent, Simonne Jeffrey (Clarence) of Shediac; three brothers, Paul (Lola), Antoine Melanson, both of Moncton, Fernand (Claudette) of Sainte-Marie de Kent; seven grandchildren, Serge, Nathalie, Rachelle, Christine, France, Isabelle, Gabriel; two great grandchildren, Mathieu and Dominique; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one son, Jean-Paul; one daughter, Yvette; one brother, Albert; one sister, Blanche. Resting at Maillet Funeral Home Ltd., 29 rue de l'église, Bouctouche with visitation on Tuesday, December 7 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm, Wednesday from 9 to 10:30 am. The Funeral Service will be held at Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Sainte-Marie de Kent on Wednesday, December 8, 2004 at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in the Parish Cemetery.
