Edna Dea Leger 1909 - 2004 MONTREAL, PQ - The family of Edna Dea Leger (née Leblanc) announces with deep sorrow her passing on December 3, 2004 at the age of 95 years. She had been a patient at Notre Dame de la Merci Hospital in Montreal and fought a losing battle against Alzheimer. Beloved wife of the late, Gerard Leger; loving mother of, Terence (Helen) and Gérène (Dieter); proud grandmother of, Todd (Kim) and Robb. Proud and loving great grandmother of, Megan, Nicole and Collin. A recipient in 1996 of The Governor General's Canadian Caring Award, she was truly a selfless and caring person who will be dearly missed by her family and many friends. A Memorial Mass and reception will be held in Moncton, NB during the summer of 2005. If desired, donations to the Alzheimer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
