Norman Percy Lutes
Norman Percy Lutes 1921 - 2004 Norman P. Lutes, 83, of Lutes Mountain, NB, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, December 8, 2004 after a lengthy illness with heart failure. Born in Lutes Mountain, he was the son of the late Percy and Hattie (Perry) Lutes. Norman was a member of the Lutes Mountain Church of the Nazarene and a Veteran of World War 2, served overseas with The Royal Canadian Army. During his life he was a farmer, carpenter, and an avid gardener. Norman will be sadly missed by his wife of 45 years, Carol Ann (Trites) Lutes; daughters, Melodie Hopkins (Dwayne), Scarborough, Maine, Glenda Kunic (Dan), Charlottetown, PE; grand children, Nicholas, Norman, and Nathan Hopkins; Sisters, Thelma Budd, Cherryfield, Mona Bell (Tom), Hamilton, ON; sister-in-law, Viola Lutes (Late Perry), Moncton; sisters-in-law, Marina Landers (Cedric), Lutes Mountain, Gloria Wilson (Harry), Moncton; and by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his stepmother, Elizabeth (Morton) Lutes (1975); brother, Perry (1998); sisters, Grace West (1999) and Violet Myers (2001). No visitation by request. Funeral Service at Lutes Mountain Church of the Nazarene (Corner of Route 126 and Briggs Road) on Saturday, December 11, 2004 at 11am, Rev. Dale Thistle and Rev. Dwayne Hopkins officiating. Interment, Horsman Cemetery, Lutes Mountain. In Norman's memory donations to Lutes Mountain Church of the Nazarene or memorial of choice would be appreciated.
