Johnny Thorne CAMBRIDGE NARROWS, NB - Johnny Ashton Thorne, 55, of Cambridge Narrows, passed away Saturday, December 11, 2004 at home surrounded by his family. Born in Moncton, he was a son of the late Harry and Flora (Campbell) Thorne. Johnny was an employee of P.C.S. in Penobsquis were he worked as a welder. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Anketell); children, Heather Thorne, Bradley (Kim) Thorne of Havelock, Brent Thorne of Saint John; grandchildren, Bailey, Shae and Samantha; a sister, Edna Blakney (Gerald), Upper Coverdale and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive visitors at the Havelock Funeral Parlour, 19 Cross Street on Tuesday, December 14 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral will be private for family. Interment will be at the New Canaan Cemetery. If so desired, memorials to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. www.keirsteads.ca
