(Feb. 13, 1914 - Aug. 9, 2008) — Passed peacefully away in his 94th year, Otto Marsh of Sunnyside, formerly of Deer Harbour, Random Island. Predeceased by parents, Alexander (1944) and Elizabeth (1990); brother Benjamin (1916); sisters, Edna (1932); Olive (1933); Neta (1996); brother-in-law Alonzo Ivany (1992); and nephew Cyril Ivany (2000). Leaving to mourn nephews Tracy (Valerie) Ivany; Randolph (Gerri) Ivany; Tony (Miriam) Ivany; nieces Linda (Ivan) Curtis; Olive (Calvin) Lockyer; Bernice (Sandy) Keeping; Barbara (Sharon) Ivany; and a large circle of relatives and friends. Otto was a well known, highly respected painting contractor in St. John's for more that 50 years. The family wishes to extend a special thank-you to the staff at St. Luke's Homes. Funeral 3 p.m. Monday, Aug. 11 from United Church, Sunnyside. Donations may be made in his memory to the Sunnyside United Church.
