Ralph Moore of Nauweigewauk, NB, occurred on Sunday

Ralph Shadrach Moore NAUWEIGEWAUK, NB - The death of Ralph Moore of Nauweigewauk, NB, occurred on Sunday, December 12, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Woodstock, NB, he was the second son of the late Shedrick and Ida (Hay) Moore. He joined the Carleton York Regiment in 1939 and served with the Army during WW II as a corporal and was president of the Regimental Association for many years. After the war he was employed with the CNR for 39 years, working out of Saint John and Moncton. Ralph enjoyed meeting his friends for coffee, loved his home and neighbours and entertained all with stories of days and events gone by. Survived by two sons, Kenneth (Sheila) Moore of Keswick Ridge, NB and Mike Moore of Hammond River, NB; one daughter, Candice (Mike) Gallant and her mother, Edna McGinty of Moncton, NB; one sister, Evelyn Gorman of California; five granddaughters, Kate (Gary) Manuel of Kingsclear, NB, Darcy (Todd) Clarmo of Toronto, ON, Kayla, Haley and Alysha Gallant of Moncton; two great-grandsons, Nicholas Barnes and Brandon Manuel; many nieces and nephews; and his canine companion, Dutch. Predeceased by his first wife, May (Weber); second wife, Judy (Czapatinski); an infant daughter, Marlene; two brothers, Charles and Donald Moore and one sister, Letitia Broad. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Tuesday, December 14, 2004 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2004 from Brenan's Chapel at 2:15 pm. Interment will follow in Gladstone Cemetery, Fredericton Junction at a later date.
