Clarence Drisdelle Clarence Drisdelle, 80, of Villa de Repos, formerly of Weldon Street, Moncton, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2004 at the Dr. GeorgesL. Dumont Hospital. Born September 17, 1924 in Moncton, he was the son of the late Emile and Beatrice (Leger) Drisdelle. Clarence was an accountant with Irving Oil prior to his retirement. He played in several bands in his youth, enjoying the guitar, violin, and piano. He was also a veteran of WW II having served overseas, and past member of the Royal Canadian Legion Moncton Branch No. # 6. He is survived by his wife, Joan (Murphy) Drisdelle; four sons, Edward (late Claudette) and Brian (Penny) both of Moncton, Terry (Darlene) of Dartmouth, NS, John (Monique) of Timberlea, NS; six grandchildren, Julie, Robert, Lisa, Kimberly, Sean, Sara; two sisters, Cecile Belliveau (late Émile) of Moncton, Phyllis Roy (late Paul) of Shediac, a brother Edmond (late Doris) of Moncton; several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a brother Léo; sisters, Obéline, Marie, Léa, Rita, Delia, Eva, and Alice. Remains resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (8581900). Visiting hours Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. until time of departure (9:45). The funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday December 31, 2004 at St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church, Moncton. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe. The Royal Canadian Legion, Moncton Branch No. 6 will hold a service of remembrance Thursday evening at 7 from the funeral home.
