Jean Adrien Leger OTTAWA, ON - In Ottawa, Jean Adrien Leger passed away peacefully, Tuesday, December 28, 2004 at the age of 87. Loving husband of the late Eileen Forde. Dear brother of Joseph Omer, and dear uncle of Lucille Leger, Francoise Kamper, Camille Leger, Sheila GrantTrusdale, Duncan, Robert, Michael and Brian Grant. Predeceased by his parents, Jean Baptiste Leger and Marie Alice Vautour, as well as his sister, Jeanne. Adrien was born in Richiboucto and raised in Northern New Brunswick, he pursued his love of farming and rural living by attending the Nova Scotia Agriculture College, graduating in 1949. Later he accepted a position in Arvida, Quebec with the Aluminium Company of Canada working in its research laboratory. He met his wife, Eileen in Arvida and they were married in 1957. Adrien and Eileen moved to Ottawa where both worked for the Government of Canada until their retirements. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 585 Somerset Street (centretown), Monday from 7 to 9 pm and Tuesday after 12 noon. Funeral Tuesday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 400 St. Laurent Blvd., for Mass of Christian Funeral at 2 pm. In memoriam, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society appreciated.
